La neuropsychologie ?
La neuropsychologie est une discipline au carrefour de la psychologie, de la psychopathologie et des Neurosciences. C’est une discipline transversale qui étudie les relations entre le fonctionnement du cerveau, les fonctions cognitives, les processus émotionnels et le comportement.
Les fonctions cognitives sont les capacités gérées par le cerveau (Mémoire, Attention, Fonctions Exécutives, Praxies, Langage, Cognition sociale,…) qui nous permettent d’interagir avec notre environnement et qui nous sont indispensables pour la réalisation des activités quotidiennes.
L’altération ou le retard de développement d’une de ses fonction peut ainsi modifier considérablement le rapport aux autres, le comportement, le vécut émotionnel, les apprentissages et le quotidien des personnes qui en sont atteintes.
